Benefits: tightens pores, heals redness and flaking, moisturizes
I love love this moisturizer. The last couple years I have tried to buy the limited edition 3.4 oz jar as it lasts me for an entire year. La mer is expensive but its worth every penny for what it does for my skin. I have very particular sensitive skin with some flaking and redness problems that are hereditary, but also oiliness - la mer is the only cream I have found that really heals my skin and moisturizes but doesn't make my skin too oily. I have tried so many things but I always always come back to la mer. I use this as a night cream, and its wonderful for me.
My only disappointment this year is in the limited edition packaging - the box is very drab, and it seems as though they did not put as much effort into it - even with the significant price increase! I always keep my jar and the spatula in the box and put it on my night stand. I think it helps to keep the spatula cleaner - and it was really nice that the packaging was so lovely. The 2011 box was just beautiful - whenever anyone came into my room they would always ask me about it, and several of my friends became la mer converts as it prompted them to go and try it for themselves. While I am aware that this isn't the greatest issue - as it is the same wonderful cream - I believe that more care and artistry should be taken in the packaging, as it not only helps advertise for you - especially with the price increase, I believe it is warranted.
The cream itself gets five stars as always - but I will rate this product as a whole as four stars as I believe the presentation could have been done much better.

I have been using La Mer for many many years, and Absolutely Love what it has done keeping my face, body and hands hydrated. Even if you have a burn or scratch where you are using your La Mer it helps in the healing. I Highly Reccommend anyone thinking of buying it to Please do so, you will be Happy you did!
