I prefer the Cream

Benefits: none that surpass the basic cream.
I tried the eye balm, but I didn't find it one bit better than the cream for under-eye use, and for that reason I could not justify paying so much more for such a tiny jar. So now I just use the cream, which I LOVE LOVE LOVE for my whole face, making sure it's nicely warmed up on my fingers, and not too much of it for under the eyes, and I really found it worked better than the separate eye cream. In fact, I still have almost half a jar of the eye balm after a couple of years because I ended up not using it much. Texturally, it's not the same as the creme. As the jar got more empty, it seemed to get more dense than it was originally....not exactly dried out or anything, but you have a harder time getting just a bit out to put under your eyes. Overall I was disappointed in the eye balm....it was supposed to be more concentrated, but using half a jar of it didn't produce any amazing results as far as I could see. The regular cream is better and definitely more cost effective compared to buying two separate creams.

I am 51 and have been using this cream for several years. I have been told by numerous people that I have no lines or wrinkles around my eyes. I do, but when I use the cream they go away. The cream is light and not sticky. Don't ever get rid of this product La Mer. It's amazing!

At 54 I've tried a lot of eye creams and had been using the Eye Concentrate for a while and love it, but wanted to try something new. With the Eye Balm wrinkles really do just disappear and all the reviews are absolutely correct. This is the best ever!

A necessary indulgence

I just ordered my third jar of LM Eye Balm. I LOVE it and have not found another eye cream that works as well, which is the only reason I willingly spend $140 on a tiny jar of cream. It staves off wrinkles and is the best eyelash conditioner... ever! A very little goes a long way and a single jar lasts about a year. LM is very generous with samples and readily offers free shipping. I would have awarded this product all five jars, if not for the ridiculously healthy price tag.

Sold for life! The results are real. I will NEVER use any other product. Love the texture of the eyebalm. Will be trying the other eye creme soon. Really have seen an improvement in firmness, diminished dark circles, and "bags". Great for preventative measures. 30's aren't too young for a product like this!

Best Hydrating Eye Product Period!

Like most of us I have searched high end to low end for years for a product that would hydrate my eye area. After I found the eye balm my search stopped. This is a wonderful product that I have been using for the last four years with tremendous results. As an added bonus my eyelashes seem to be fuller and longer. I highly recommend this to everyone.

Changed my skin forever

I first tried the Eye Balm in 2003 because I had fine lines showing on my forehead from too much sunbathing. I used the balm on my forehead for 7 days and the lines disappeared, it was amazing. So I started using it on my eyes. In 2007 I was unemployed so tried to cut back on my beauty product spending and tried other eye creams. I started to see fine lines under my eyes after just 3 months so got really scared and went online to buy the La Mer Eye Balm again... I'm so glad I'm using it again as my eyes have improved so much in just a month. It's an expensive little pot, but it's a little pot of wonder.
