it's la mer, so of course I'd recommend it. But will I buy another bottle? probably not. There's no small cap after you remove the top, so basically I feel like I'm using a bottle of drink, and it splashes easily! Now i'm using this for both face and hands, just hope to finish it asap.

I love all La Mer products that I've purchased so far. Yes, they are a bit pricey but so worth every penny.

I love the tonic

I've been using this tonic for four years. Even when I am in a hurry, I will make time to at least get this onto my face to supply my skin with the miracle broth. It makes a difference. My skin is immediately refreshed, smoother and more youthful. Lines appear softened. It's a staple in my skincare routine.

Benefits: clean feeling skin, not dry and not greesy
I am very glad with the results and always keep this tonic in my cabinet. It does not dry my skin or sting, does not leave a film on my face either like other toners do. A very good base for any moistuurizing cream to apply right after

This is great stuff, I'm 26 and have combination skin and my mom who's 50 uses it as well, works across the board! It has a light pleasant smell as well.

I have very thin and dry skin. Most toners are not moisture enough for me. I like the small and the texture of this toner. It keeps my skin soft and fresh.

I ran out of my other brand toner and decided to spend a few extra dollars and try The Tonic. After using almost one whole bottle I really think this is the perfect toner for me. It leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed but does not leave a residue like some toners I have used in the past. It absolutely does not dry my skin out and seems to work well with the other La Mer products I use. Plus it lasts a long time so the extra money is well spent.

At first I thought this is just some regular toner like others until the minute I put it on my face. It hydrates so well and so fast, leaving skin soft and plumped for the lotion/cream. Even my husband, who has no idea about any skin care, claims that this is the best toner I've ever tried on him, and now he sticks with it as I do. However, the manufacture could have a better designed bottle that is easier to use, either with a little spray top or applier. The current one is not very user friendly, it tends to pour out too much of the liquid, and not very hygiene.

The Tonic restores the skin to a soft, hydrated texture. The skin is ready and responsive to the moisturizer application. I have used many toners and this is absolutely the finest!

It is truly awesome! After a few monthes use, I realized that my skin was greatly improved! The color had evened out and pores were much smaller. I can sense the creme's healing properties.

I have very sensitive skin and have been unable to use toners in the past. This one is very gentle. I began using it a few months after I started using Le Mer moisturizers. It really increases their effectiveness! After years of thinking that toning is an unnecessary step in skin care, I am now a believer. If you are spending the money on the creme, the tonic is a worthwhile addition to your regimen.

The La Mer Tonic is a must in any skin care routine. I use it every day as a toner following La Mer Cleansing Gel. This toner is absolutely wonderful. It is very well balanced and never burns or irritates my skin. It always leaves my skin feeling smooth, fresh and ready to receive my Creme De La Mer. I can always tell a difference when I apply this before my Creme. Also, being a guy, I always hated using toner, especially after shaving because most of them burn your skin. The Tonic is so gentle, even after a fresh shave it simply leaves your skin glowing, refreshed, and clarified. The scent is quite lovely, the perfect blend of fresh floral and spa scents, perfect for guys and girls. Once you try the Tonic, you will be a devotee for a lifetime.
